CLEAR OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED OUTCOMES OF OUR PROJECT
Three mobility activities will be carried out. These mobilities will provide opportunities to gain knowledge and experience in the fields of artificial intelligence, cyberbullying, and cybersecurity, while also aiming to increase international cooperation in these areas. A study conducted in 2019 by UNICEF and the UN Special Representative on Violence against Children revealed that online bullying is a major problem among young people. This project aims to develop a comprehensive strategy to address this problem for students and teachers and to make educational environments safer and more conscious.
Teachers and students participating in the project will take a leading role across Europe in the fields of cyberbullying and artificial intelligence, sharing successful practices and enhancing their knowledge and skills in these areas. The cybersecurity and artificial intelligence training to be provided will contribute to improving the digital skills of the participants. The main objective of the project is to offer innovative methods and strategies for teachers to combat cyberbullying and artificial intelligence-related challenges.
Teachers will integrate the knowledge and experience gained from these activities into their lessons, raising students’ awareness of the potential risks they may encounter in the digital world and empowering them.
The first mobility of our project was carried out in Türkiye. On the first day, following the welcoming and introduction of the guests at our coordinating school, our workshops and practice kindergarten were visited and information about our school was provided. Afterwards, the purpose and content of the project were shared with the partner countries, Croatia and Poland. The expected objectives and outcomes of the training were discussed, followed by training sessions on Introduction to Cybersecurity, Cyberbullying, Survey Results on the Opinions of 14–17-Year-Old Students Regarding Bullying Implemented in Our School, and Cyberbullying Awareness.
